Planning and Forecasting provide the groundwork for achieving XXX YYY’s strategic objectives of Market Leadership, Sustainable Growth and Disciplined Leadership.

a) Strategic plans: Segments are responsible for developing and maintaining Strategic Plans with a three-year planning horizon.

These plans should identify opportunities and risks define strategies for achieving 15 % annual net income growth at the Segment level with a minimum return of 15% ROEC.

b) Operating Plans and Forecasts: XXX YYY Finance will maintain and clearly communicate the Operating Plan and Forecasting process.

The process will include the delivery of annual up-front guidance, a monthly reporting and forecasting timeline, provision for rolling 12-month updates, identification of profit drivers and **attribution analysis** that connects results to drivers.
