Es geht um einen Projektmangementsoftware, die unter anderem auch speziell für "activity-based organisations" geeignet ist. Das scheint mir ein Fachausdruck zu sein, "activity based costing" ist die Prozesskostenrechnung...
Der Begriff kommt auch in vielen anderen Zusammensetzungen vor:
"Improve Activity-based Performance
The core value of activity-based organizations are its processes. The ability to measure and improve process is what ultimately drives customer value and what can differentiate an organization from its competitors. Activity-based tasks cover a wide spectrum – running clinical tests, renting commercial center retail space, processing insurance claims – but they are similar in that they are all complex activities that depend on specific human and physical resources that must be centrally managed and optimized"
