I've to translate "schlepping stock", and I have no clue of its meaning. My text is related to retail business, and people working at store.

As a person who has made retail a career, I must say that the author has never walked a full mile in a retailer's shoes. I am amazed at her trivial complaints and woe's over what many would see as a lucky break. I realize that schlepping stock from a back room must be a real low point for some one so prestigious as the author, who was quick to remind us that she interviewed the Queen of England...

Or, a picture found at Internet: Kate and A looking like bag ladies, schlepping stock to the store.

Or...in the article entitle "What Really Is The Bottom Line?" (http://www.economworld.com/business/news_2009-07-05-16-02-04...

Small businesses represent more than 99% of all employers in America and according to the US census, more small businesses close everyone year than open. Yet, the census office can't accurately track the home based entrepreneur. With the explosion of the utilize of the internet and more and more sophisticated techniques being introduced seemingly daily, the days of schlepping stock are over and working from home is easier and more ecocnomic than ever.

Thanks
