Spanish term

"fajas de impuestos"

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Economics editorial, academic
This appears in an academic text about taxes in 18th century Chile.
IT is mentioned along with other types of domestic taxes:

I don't think it refers to tax bands ... any help appreciated ! I need the English translation pls.

tax stamps

Strips of paper attached to the bottle cap as a seal; alcohol producers used to buy them from the State, this being how they paid the respective tax.

From Wikipedia - A revenue stamp, tax stamp or fiscal stamp is a (usually) adhesive label used to collect taxes or fees on documents, tobacco, alcoholic drinks, drugs and medicines, playing cards, hunting licenses, firearm registration, and many other things. Typically businesses purchase the stamps from the government, and attach them to taxed items as part of putting the items on sale, or in the case of documents, as part of filling out the form.
