The HUD Glossary of Terms is a collection of common terms used in the conduct of HUD business. Each term may be an organization, a program, an activity, a form, or a commonly used word and its modifiers. The purpose of the glossary is to foster the use of business terms uniformly throughout HUD and to provide a tool to facilitate communication among the HUD community and the public.
