Bio
I am a freelance translator specialising in
IT and digital marketing. I am also a writer who knows how to craft a
professional business message.
In 1999, I completed the localisation of
the GE Plastics website and won a global award. In 2003, I developed the most
comprehensive e-marketplace for chemical products in Korea, which was
recognised by the government agency as the number one e-marketplace. What I had
been doing for over 30 years was all about facilitating digital communication
between people who speak a different language and live in a different culture.
With this knowledge and talent, I provide
various English-to-Korean language services, including subtitling and
voice-over services. My work has been tested and approved by the world's top
LSPs such as Transperfect, Lionbridge, RWS and others.
I run a small community of translators
called Club 30. The members are Korean translators with similar expertise to
mine in their fields. We work independently, but we also work as a Single
Language Vendor when large capacity is required. The members translate and I
proofread. I also act as the project manager on our side. As there are male and
female members, we can offer multiple voices.
We are passionate linguists who can help
communicate with Korean audiences. Thank you very much!
