English term

Grief and genocide acknowledgement.

Non-PRO English to Spanish Other Government / Politics LGBT Human Rights Meeting.
I would like to know the best translation of this phrase from American English into Venezuelan Spanish.

Colleagues from Spain, feel free to send me your suggestions as well.

It's a translation about a LGBT human rights meeting conference for Latin People living in USA and Americans readers.

Here is the full paragraph for your review:

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): Pablo Cruz, Beatriz Ramírez de Haro, Juan Gil

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Thanks Lisa. Thanks for your help Lisa. I really appreciate it. I'm sorry about the delay. I was so busy working and I had a medical appointment. You can post your Kudoz answer in this Proz Forum.
Lisa Rosengard Feb 26:
I believe it's s topic area that most people choose not to discuss but I suppose it could be translated as (firstly and secondly): 'el reconocimiento del dolor del genocidio', 'el trabajo arduo de la tierra'.

Reconocimiento del genocidio y del proceso de duelo.

The phrase is ambiguous as is and it can be either "Reconocimiento del genocidio y del proceso de duelo" or "Reconocimiento del genocidio y proceso de duelo". Therefore, the translation should be considered as "PRO" instead of "non-pro", as it has a linguistic ambiguity, only seen by professionals.
