Discussion

Non-ProZ.com Jun 13, 2004:
To Oze: Can you kindly confirm "accessories" is "" in Games? I never play games you know.
Non-ProZ.com Jun 13, 2004:
What's the point in wearing , though? This appears in a Game User Guide, which is written in bad Chinese. I thought it could be "amulets", which should be rendered as "". Any ideas?

accessories

Like your weapons, accessories may be saved and reused in some games.

If you\'re talking about computer or arcade games, I have heard the word \"accessories\" used more often. It is generic, neutral, and comprehensive. Accessories worn by the player may be amulets, or articles for personal adornment, protective shields, bullet proof vests, smoke screens, camouflages, etc., in short, everything else aside from weapons (guns, machine guns, bombs, etc.).
