Jedro s okastim prstenovima na svakom uglu plus onima po gornjem rubu jedra. Jedro ima četvrtasti oblik (pravi je naziv sono jedro) iskrojeno tako da ide uz sonjaču i jarbol kada ga podignete i razapnete. Bitno je i da uz gornji rub bude uiven konop te ojačanja na uglovima.
