The process of raising or lifting fluid from a well by injecting gas down the well through tubing or through the tubing-casing annulus. Injected gas aerates the fluid to make it exert less pressure than the formation does; the resulting higher formation pressure forces the fluid out of the wellbore. Gas may be injected continuously or intermittently, depending on the producing characteristics of the well and the arrangement of the gas-lift equipment.

Klemi, I am sorry that I can not vote for you, at least for now, according to Proz. com, I am not quite sure why, but I have to respect their decision. However I just wanted to let you know that your answer is right to the point and concise versus Fabiana's anwer that is not based on the traditional dictionaries, where the translation of this term already exists and also her answer contains unnecessary words--Fabiana, some times less is more, and if it "ain't" broken why fix it. We, as interpreters, should respect more Albanian traditional dictionaries, they (the authors of these dectionaries) have worked hard to provide us with these great tools, they might not be always right but mostly of the times they are, after all nothing and no one is perfect.

Forcë Ngritëse Aerostatike Forcë ngritëse aerostatike is a term that has entered the albanian dictionaries in 1990 and has been used since then in petroleum eng. field as a term that describes the above new technology which is a process of raising or lifting fluid from a well by injecting gas down the well through tubing or through the tubing-casing annulus. The dictionary is compiled from a group of very experienced translators and approved from the respective Academy

Wrong! Read the description of the term given by asker. Start from there. It does not say how but what IT IS. The dict. says it's a force but it is not, it's the exctract of oil by the lifting force of gas injected below, so BY the means of a force.

disagree Fabiana Papastefani-Pezzoni : Obliged to disagree as per:1) Description given completely the opposite of description given by asker, 2) link shows no evidence of your term, 3) NO foaming substances, but gas injection, 4) your entry tells the principle on which this technique is based
