I've seen that somebody has already asked about this term on ProZ and has chosen "Front Line" in German as well.
The thing is that my client asked me expressely to translate business terms whenever possible.
So far, I have used "vorderste Front" in my draft but I am not entirely happy with it.
Does anyone know a better translation? Or can anyone confirm that "Front Line" is really used in German as well?

Mit "front line" ist/sind meist der Vertrieb/Service (und die entsprechenden Mitarbeiter) mit direktem Kundenkontakt gemeint. Die Verwendung des Anglizismus ist völlig unnötig. Wenn "front line" im Ausgangstext häufig vorkommt, bieten sich je nach Branche, in der das Unternehmen tätig ist, noch Varianten wie "an vorderster Front" oder "vor Ort beim Kunden" an.
