Equivalent leakage current measuring method:
In the case of the equivalent leakage current measuring method, test voltage is generated by the device under test itself and is applied simultaneously to the phase and neutral conductors. Current values are displayed which would settle in at a test instrument with an internal resistance of 2 kΩ ±20%, with the device connected to nominal voltage.
