As a credit mitigation technique, the ISDA Master Agreement contractually binds both parties to use master-netting arrangements and, in the case of default of the counterparty, close-out netting. Additionally, the Credit Support Annex (CSA) to the ISDA Master Agreement enables PSP Investments to realize any collateral placed with it in the case of default of the counterparty.
