English term

"I *ram the guitar into* its quarter of speakers"

English to Spanish Art/Literary Music rock n roll
A guitarist talking about his live performance:

"I ram the guitar into its quarter of speakers, feeling it howl and scream and groan back at me"

I'm not sure if *rams into* would mean the same as crash into, smash (Pete Twonshend's style). Could it mean also that he only approaches the speakers as to produce high pitch sounds?

Thanks!

I ram the guitar into its quartet of speakers Very sorry Hadeluna and others. The word is "quartet", not "quarter of speakers".
