I've just noted in the discussion that it could also be "work in their stead". In other words, "to do the work instead of the people named in the form doing it".

All the persons named in the form have given their consent for *** or third parties contracted on its behalf to perform similar work to that which you are performing for me, or possibly which I am performing for you, or to that described in some other form in the source document.
