French term

Acte d'Acceptation

French to English Law/Patents Real Estate Mortgage loan agreement
In a list of terms to be used in the translation of a mortgage loan agreement. Mortgage loan approval document? (I am assuming this is what the term refers to, given the general context of the list, although I don't have it in a sentence).

Discussion

writeaway Mar 26, 2009:
Thanks-and good luck with the rest. Seems client has found a great way to make a job unnecessarily difficult for the translator!
Susan Gastaldi (asker) Mar 26, 2009:
I think it's French but unfortunately I don't have the text itself, just this list of terms for the glossary which is a bit irritating because I don't have more context.
writeaway Mar 26, 2009:
Is this a French text or from Luxembourg? (or somewhere else?)

IATE has both these legal definitions.

However, 'instrument of acceptance' does appear to be relevant in a mortgage agreement context.
