I would translate this passage as something like, "The commitment term is recalculated in this manner in the process of managing the switch in service plans, and the length of the client's commitment shall be lengthened on the basis of this formula."

"Acte," here, is an *action*, not an *act*; frankly, it isn't needed in English. Rather, rephrase *gestion* as an action (use a verb--English definitely prefers to state actions, rather than just naming them), and drop the descriptive word *action*:

...is recalculated to include the migration handling, thus extending...
