This really has me stumped! It is a CV that I am working on and this persons previous job was as Survey Assitant. She is stating her job discription and this is all I have on this subject; no more info.
The entire phrase is whatever is in the term + (prezzo e consumo) at the end.
The way I would translate it is: Supervision of a sample of families for the retrieval of data (price and consumption).
It just doean't make sense to me, espescially the price and consumption part. Am I missing something?

1.Gestione lo tradurrei con handling in questo caso. La signorina in questione non ha "gestito" le famiglie, ha gestito i dati provenienti dall'indagine sulle famiglie.
2.Sample of families non mi suona in questo contesto...ma fai tu
3.prezzo e consumo potrebbe indicare expenses survey e consumption survey (e' un tipo di indagine molto comune, trovi 1000 esempi in rete)
4. nessun commento sul CV in questione.. :-)
