DH (= Double hetero-structure) refers to the execution of the switching action distributed to two separate buttons: one for ON and another for OFF.
The switching unit can present either as a box fixed on the wall (露出刑 exposed box) (see link #1) or embedded in the wall (see link b). (植え込み) and so 'flush' (or nearly flush) with it.
BTW, This is confirmed by the product code for this latter type, which is: DHF.
So since this unit is mounted externally to its support, would see 取付寸法 as referring to the 'protruding depth (of the unit once mounted)' // compared to the 'actual depth of the unit), remaining the same regardless of the number of dedicated switch buttons it incorporates (whether 2, or 3 for three-phased current.)
