Japanese term

個人名義に変更

Japanese to English Other Real Estate
Context:
When you use a corporate housing program, you lease a property under your company name.
However, when you quit the company, you must change the contract so you are the one that is signing the contract.
In Japanese, you would say 法人名義から個人名義に変更.

Can this be translated as "transferring the property ownership to the user from the company".
I wonder if I should rather use the contract name or other expressions as this may not be technically ownership.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Change the lessee name to the individual

Judging from the context provided, the referred contract is a lease contract with a third party landload (lessor). While he/she is with a company, the company is the lessee and the company lets him/her use it. When he/she quits the company and wants to continue using the property, he/she should sign the contract as a lessee.

Transfer to individual ownership

What you use here depends on wether you want to provide more context or leave it a little simpler like "Transfer to individual ownership". Both ways work as long as there's enough context outside of this term to get the point across.
