This could be a float or a statue on a platform with poles to carry it. Generically we'd call the whole lot a "procession".

Yes, I know exactly what you mean but I'm not aware of a term for this English - someone else may. Failing that, I would paraphrase it and say "a procession carrying statues on wooden platforms leaves the chapel". Just a suggestion.
