Cate capete atatea idei :-). De acord si cu remarca imediat anterioara :-). "To have one's roots in sth." pierde un pic din sensul pe care il percep. Adevarul este ca doar contextul va valida varianta potrivita :-).

hmmm... in loc de \"stand at the basis of...\" mai degraba \"stand at the roots of\". Si astfel ma simt si mai prost pentru o propunere venita dupa ce v-ati dat si voi variantele voastre, pe care le-am avut spre inspirare :-(.

"a prinde(???) seva"? Din cate stiu eu, se spune "a-si trage seva". Poate e vorba de alt sens. Oricum, sa vorbesti de "seva" in dreptul unei opere nu mi se pare o idee prea fericita.
