An outlet, on the other hand, is definitely not a restaurant. At least in the US it isn't. The word is most commonly used in the sense of a "factory outlet," i.e. something akin to the Russian firmennyi magazin. There are tons and tons of outlet malls throughout the country. To be sure, they usually have cafes or restaurants on premises, or more pedestrian food courts (God forbid an American goes hungry for more than 15 minutes at a time:)), but that's not why people go there.

Nor is it a "facility," which would be more appropriate for an industrial or military context, nor an "enterprise," which is way too much of a word for such a lowly thing as a chain restaurant.

As always, the devil is in the details, i.e. the usage.

There's no reason whatsoever to use the same word throughout. "A place of unique style and design" seems to work perfectly fine in this particular instance. When discussing financial metrics, you call that place an establishment, which would be fairly common, or a store, if your audience is American. In the US, any retail establishment is a "store" in official parlance, regardless of what it actually does, and that's what you normally see (Store #...) on all the official licenses and permits displayed at restaurants. That's also why they often talk about performance at "stores open for more than a year," which is a metric in itself in retail. unique style of a facility - не очень звучит. так же, как и style of a site. может быть, 'develop unique style/design for the site/location'. и с экономическими показателями site/location тоже сочетается

Place, к сожалению, не подходит. Там еще есть экономические показатели каждого заведения в сети.

Из предложенного ближе всего outlet пока что. Я бы употребил restaurant или cafe, но проблема в том, что в сети есть и рестораны, и кафе. А нужен некий обобщающий термин. Еще думаю над enterprise или facility.

Уточнение Меня интересует перевод именно слова "заведение", а не вольный перевод всего предложения. В любом случае спасибо всем, кто откликнулся.
