Spanish term

aceleración-desaceleración de arriba hacia abajo

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Aerospace / Aviation / Space medical diagnoses
This is from a Colombian plane crash report, relating to passenger injuries.

Here's the immediate context:

Las lesiones leves cervicales documentadas fueron por fracturas por compresión, ejercidas por “la gravedad Y” ACELERACION-DESACELERACION DE ARRIBA HACIA ABAJO sin haber lesión de medula.

I would like to know if there is a technical term for this phrase. Otherwise, I can just describe it as is.

top acceleration coupled with bottom deceleration

I think that this in in reference to the accelration of the top part of the body, coupled with the decelration of the lower part (i.e.
two fields acting on the body in opposite direction, leading to compressive forces).

Even though this was the cause of medical injuries, it is an airplane accident that is beaing described here and thus deals with aviation.
