Discussion

neilmac Apr 26, 2008:
Snip snip. Time of the month, anyone?
M. C. Filgueira Apr 26, 2008:
Gad Kohenov Apr 26, 2008:
Clearly a survey related to health.
neilmac Apr 26, 2008:
It does to me.
Robert Copeland (asker) Apr 26, 2008:
As stated above: This deals with health care in general and as stated, it appears on a general medical survey....... Nothing more, nothing less.....
M. C. Filgueira Apr 26, 2008:

Yes would is the correct grammatical form.

How many years would you be willing to trade off...?

That's how I see it, Robert. To me "how many of these/those years" just doesn't sound right. If it were my translation, I'd go with something like:

"Should new technology be developed, how many years would you be willing to trade off for normal sight? Pick one option below."
