Para esto es necesario concentrar una parte importante del mosto a fuego directo para obtener un "arrope" (concentración a 1/5), que irá arropando al mosto en fermentación.
OK, arrope is unfermented grape juice, or must, concentrated down to 1/5 of its original volume. I am happy to use the term arrope, especially as it is explained in brackets), but can anybody give me a suggestion for **arropando**. What this concentrate actually does is sweeten the wine, although it will eventually turn to alcohol, so the end result won't be that sweet, but that does not seem to be the meaning of arrope/arropar, which suggests covering/clothing. I don't want to use *cloaking* as that suggests disguise, concealment. Anybody know a better term?
