I just attempted to run a XLF (1.1) through the translation process. It seems to import fine. I just attempted to run a XLF (1.1) through the translation process. It seems to import fine. Translation works great, but when you export I get 1100+ warnings and the resultant file is not able to reimport back into our originating application. The errors are 100% in the Trados app right now and the issues that I woluld like you to consider are only the Trados errors.
To isolate the real issue, I created a single question surveys in our online app, export to XLF and created a new SDL Project. I imported the short sample survey, translated, approved and when I click ‘Generate Target Translations’ it has 1 error that says ‘Sequence contains no elements’.
Couple thoughts: I believe the file itself is is XLIFF Schema 1.1 (if you open the original XLIFF it says 1.1) The SDL File Type for XLIFF seems to want to do Schema Validation against 1.2.
What might be creating this inability to export from Trados. I noticed their are settings on the XLIFF File Types. Is this where to start? ▲ Collapse

I have faced the same problem while trying to reconvert sdlxliff to .xlf.
The process went smootly after the status of the translated segments has been changed to 'signed-off'. While having the 'translated' option enabled, I could not reconvert the file either...
