Choose the right registration path for your user type

Start from the Sign Up Button

  • On the homepage or header, click 'Sign Up'. A dialog opens: 'Choose how you want to get started with Remoto'.
  • Step 1: Choose 'Looking for Interpreters' (if you need to find or book interpreters) or 'I'm an Interpreter' (if you provide interpreting services).
  • If you chose 'Looking for Interpreters', Step 2: Choose 'I'm an Organization' (company/LSP account) or 'I'm an Individual' (personal account to request interpretation).
  • Each choice takes you to the correct registration page. You can also visit /signup to choose your account type, or go directly to /register/interpreter or /register/agency if you already know your path.

Pro Tip
  • Interpreters are recommended to use a ProZ email or link to their ProZ account during registration

For Interpreters and Regular Users

  • Sign Up → 'I'm an Interpreter' goes to /register/interpreter. Sign Up → Looking for Interpreters → 'I'm an Individual' also goes to /register/interpreter (as a user).
  • Enter your email address (ProZ email recommended for interpreters)
  • For interpreters: Optionally add ProZ username and profile URL to link your ProZ account
  • Create a password and verify your email

For Interpreters and Regular Users

  • Using a ProZ email helps establish professional credentials for interpreters

For Organizations

  • Sign Up → Looking for Interpreters → 'I'm an Organization' goes to /register/agency
  • Complete the 2-step registration wizard: Step 1 'Your information' (contact, company, email, password), Step 2 'Business needs' (language pairs, rates, interpreters per day, business notes)
  • After submitting, you'll see a dialog asking you to verify your company email before accessing the Dashboard
  • See 'Registering Your Organization' for detailed steps
For Organizations

After Registration

  • Check your email for the verification link
  • Click the verification link to activate your account
  • Organizations: After registration, a dialog explains that an email was sent; verify your email, then use 'Go to Login' to log in at /login/agency. You will not be redirected to the dashboard until you have verified and logged in.
  • Interpreters and individuals: Log in at /login/interpreter or /login/user. You'll be redirected to your dashboard after login.

Finish Setting Up Your Account Checklist

  • After you log in, look for the 'Finish setting up account' panel in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard. It shows your progress and the next steps to complete.
  • Hiring mode (default for individual accounts): steps may include adding your name and a payment method before you can place calls.
  • Providing mode (for interpreters and professionals): use the Hiring / Providing toggle in the header to switch. The checklist guides you through choosing Interpreter or Professional, completing your profile, and submitting for review.
  • Completed steps stay visible in the list with a green checkmark so you can see how far you've come. The progress bar reaches 100% only when every required profile item is complete, including documents for your specialties.
  • After you submit your application, the checklist disappears while your profile is under review — you've finished this part of setup.
  • Each remaining step is clickable and takes you to the right page. You can hide the panel for today or permanently if you prefer.
