How to disable notifications for translation contest

Dear all,

I am trying to disable the email notifications for proz translations contests, but I just can't find the relevant setting. Could anyone help me and point me to the right place?

Go to contest page and you will find a tag about notifications on your left.
Click the "Click here to unsubscribe" button.

Is there a way to disable the banner? Even though I clicked on 'Don't show this banner again', every time I reload the main page, the banner is displayed again.

Thanks for reporting this. The banner should not be displayed again after you have clicked on the "hide" button.

Hi Romina,
no, it's not displaying correctly. I can hide it a thousand times, and it will still pop up again for the thousand and first time as soon as I click any link (whatsoever) on the page. For those not interested in the contests, this is very annoying indeed.

The banner keeps popping up again ... Jun 21, 2008

Hello Romina,

it worked fine - for a few days. This morning, the banner keeps popping up again on the Home page, regardless of how often I confirm that, yes, I'm sure I want to hide it. Please do something about it. This is something that's really annoying (and surely not just for me). Thanks for your help.
