I have been translating from German to English since 2002, from Czech to English since 1994. My experience is correspondingly broad, initially most of my work was in the area of business/marketing and tourism/culture, but recently I am frequently asked to translate scholarly articles and other texts from a range of academic disciplines or outreach materials for NGOs addressing environmental and human rights issues. My clients particularly appreciate the elegance of my translations: I produce well-written texts that read easily while retaining the style of the original. I also work with clients to revise speeches and presentations they have prepared in English to simplify and clarify the language.
