Bio
Even as a child, I had a keen interest in foreign languages. During my school years, I spent four months at a French boarding school. After leaving school, I studied English, French and history of art, where I also completed my doctorate.
During my studies, I worked in Paris for 7 months, including at the Louvre and in an art publishing house. In 2021, I successfully passed the examination to become a state-certified translator at the Karlsruhe Regional Council.
I worked in a museum for a year and three months and now I am a freelance translator and art-historian with a part-time employment at Maulbronn monastery, one of the best preserved monasteries in Germany. There I do guided tours in English, French and German.
Art and music are my big passions in life. I also draw and play the piano. For many years I played the violin in a prestigious orchestra.
