Oxford-trained biologist (BA, PhD) with an academic career involving senior academic appointments  at University College London (Professor in the Department of Anthropology), at the University of Zürich (Director and Professor in the Anthropological Institute), and The Field Museum, Chicago (Vice-President of Academic Affairs and Curator of Biological Anthropology). Author of over 330 publications, including two books, and translator of 17 books on biological topics from German or French into English. Extensive experience with academic administration and publication in English, French and German, including meticulous editing, preparation of abstracts and proof-reading.
