Prerequisites for Receiving Calls
- You must have Remoto eligibility with approved language pairs
- You must be joined to the Remoto pool
- Stream Video connection must be established (you'll see connection status)
- Your profile must be active

Set Yourself as Available
- Open your interpreter dashboard at /user/dashboard
- Check that Stream Video shows 'Connected' status
- Toggle the availability switch to 'Online' (green)
- If not Remoto-eligible, you'll be prompted to request access
- Once online, you'll appear in the Remoto pool for matching

Pro Tip
- The toggle checks Remoto eligibility before allowing you to go online

Receive Incoming Call Notifications
- When a call matches your approved language pairs, Stream Video sends a notification
- Incoming call overlay appears on your screen
- You'll see the caller information and language pair
- You have time to accept or decline (typically 30 seconds)
- Notifications work even if you're on another tab

Accept the Call
- Click 'Accept' on the incoming call notification
- Stream Video will connect you to the call room
- Your camera and microphone will activate automatically
- You'll see the Stream Video call interface with participants
- Introduce yourself to the participants

- Ensure your camera and mic permissions are granted before going available

During the Call
- Use Stream Video controls: mute/unmute, camera on/off, screen share
- Chat feature available for text communication
- View all participants in the call
- Monitor call duration and quality

End the Call
- Click 'End Call' when interpretation is complete
- Stream Video will disconnect you from the call room
- Call session is logged for billing and history
- You can rate your experience if prompted
